Rooted in the North. Raised with Purpose.

Welcome to Timm Homestead, where raising performance-bred Quarter Horses, spending time outdoors, and enjoying the simple things in life are all part of who we are. From the barn to the backwoods, we're sharing a little of what life looks like on our family homestead.

A Little About Us

We're the Timm family, and we're fortunate to call northern Minnesota home.

Horses have always been a big part of our lives (mostly Megan's, but now Dan has no choice), but there's more to our story than what happens around the barn. Between raising our boys, caring for the horses, hunting, fishing, and tackling the never-ending list of homestead projects, life stays plenty busy.

We wouldn't have it any other way.

Our Horses

Our small quarter horse breeding program focuses on raising performance-bred horses with strong pedigrees, athletic potential, and good minds. At the heart of our program is Ole, our palomino stallion and the sire of our home-grown foals. As he continues his training toward the barrel racing arena, we're excited to see what the future holds for him and the next generation.

LIFE BEYOND THE BARN

Living in northern Minnesota means there's always something to do, no matter the season. When we're not spending time with the horses, you'll likely find us fishing, hunting, exploring the outdoors, or working on the next project around the homestead. It's a busy life, but it's one we're grateful to call our own.
